形態特徵

• Rhizomes distinct, long creeping, terete, 3 mm in diam. Pseudobulbs 1-4 cm apart, ovoid, often rugose or sulcate, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, yellowish, lustrous.
• Leaves subsessile, linear-oblong, coriaceous, 6-12 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, apex retuse, base attenuate into a short sulcate petiole.
• Scapes yellowish, with purple spots, slender, ca. 10 cm long, lower part with 2 sheaths-like scales; bracts concave, pale green, with purple dots, elliptic, 7-8 mm long, acute at apex; pedicels and ovaries 2 cm long. Flowers 2-4 in a condensed raceme, yellow, with scattered minute reddish brown dots, ca. 3 cm long; dorsal sepal concave, ovate to broadly triangular, 10-13 mm long, 7-8 mm wide, reddish and slightly ciliate towards apex, rounded or truncate at base; lateral sepals free or sometimes connate, falcate, lanceolate, 20-33 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, acute at apex, oblique at base, incurved; petals reddish towards apex, ovate, 5-7 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, rounded to obtuse and ciliate at apex, truncate at base; lip pale to greenish yellow, with red spots or blotches, horn-like, 6-8 mm long, sulcate near base; column 4 mm long, with 2 short wings ending in short stylids at apex, foot 5-6 mm long; anther operculate, 2-celled, distinctly pectinate at base; pollinia 4, in 2 pairs, connected by viscid material.
• Fruit elongate fusiform, 4-5 cm long, 7 mm in diam.

分布

• 台灣 : mainly in broadleaved forests at 1,000-2,000 m in the Alishan Range.
• 世界 : Southern China.
